Rally di Roma Capitale 2020 full steam ahead. More than 30 entries filed.

22.06.2020 – The Rally di Roma Capitale 2020 is continuing full swing and is set to be the opener of the FIA European Rally Championship 2020 and Italian Rally 2020 Championship from July 24th to 26th.

More than 30 crews already entered the rally when twenty days are left before the closure of entry lists, which shows the great affection towards the event organized by Motorsport Italia but also witnesses the great desire to go back to racing. Rally di Roma Capitale wants to be the front runner in this unusual and unpredictable period.

The Italian event will take place on a technical, challenging and demanding itinerary devised on the hills of Ciociaria and staff is working to make it a big media event as it will be the first International rally after the stop of the Rally Mexico last March 14th. The start from Castel Sant’Angelo is going to be one of the most awaited moments, one that will represent not only the start of the event, but also the restart of all the motorsport sector in one of the most stunning settings on the entire FIA ERC calendar.

The interest from the main international media has been high thanks to the constant collaboration with Eurosport Events. The presence of some of the most important agencies in the world of rallying from Germany and the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Italy has already been confirmed.

The Rally di Roma Capitale is going to be an unmissable event from a sporting viewpoint due to the level of the entered crews and the R5 cars at the start, which is going to be a great experience for Italian and foreign drivers that will challenge each other putting in a great spectacle, where everyone will try and write their name on the hall of fame of an edition that is going to be unique. Among these, the presence of Craig Breen (IRL), Callum Devine (IRL), Efrén Llarena (ESP) and Dominik Dinkel (GER) but surprises in the entry lists are definitely not over yet.
