AMBIENTE

The Rally di Roma Capitale, organized by Max Rendina and Motorsport Italia, is committed to constantly improving its environmental practices.

The event, scheduled from 26 to 28 July, confirms itself as a point of reference for environmental sustainability in the panorama of motoring events.

Sustainable Mobility: The organization will use electric or hybrid vehicles for its staff and encourages the public to use public or alternative transport, such as electric scooters, to reach Rome from Fiuggi and to move within the city.

Recycled Materials and Waste Reduction: The event is committed to using recycled materials and materials from certified suppliers to reduce environmental impact. Recycled plastic materials and commissioners’ identification bibs made of recycled material will be used. Furthermore, special areas will be set up for the management of special waste and used tires will be collected at the end of the race. Washing of cars and rims in the service park will be prohibited to prevent pollution.

Public awareness: Communication campaigns will be promoted to raise public awareness of the importance of not abandoning waste and adopting environmentally friendly behaviour. Match Officials will also be instructed to ensure the cleanliness of areas following the event.

Clean Energy: The electricity supply in the Fiuggi service park will be guaranteed by low consumption generators and renewable sources. Diodoro Ecologia will monitor the waste collection system to quantify the materials collected.

Plastic Free Catering: The catering service in the service park will be plastic free, as already happened in 2023.
