The prestigious event returns from July 26th to 28th with exciting new features, thanks to the fundamental collaboration of the Assessore Grandi Eventi, Turismo, Sport e Moda di Roma Capitale Alessandro Onorato. The showdown at the Colosseum, reproposed for the third consecutive year, is the most eagerly awaited moment of the entire European Rally Championship.
Rome, June 23rd 2024 – The Rally di Roma Capitale is preparing to return to the stage from July 26th to 28th 2024. The event will be the fifth round of both the FIA European Rally Championship and the Campionato Italiano Assoluto Rally Sparco.
Organised by Motorsport Italia and former world rally champion Max Rendina, the Rally di Roma Capitale has confirmed both validities, boasting a great recognition that validates not only the sporting aspect, but also the media and promotional aspect. The race, which closely touches the city of Rome, will take place following tradition but with some changes to the programme, itinerary and side events.
One of the main attractions will once again be the prologue in the centre of Rome, with a spectacular stage at the Colosseum proposed again for the third consecutive year and the prestigious parade through the streets of the historic centre. This successful return is made possible thanks to the foresight and fundamental support of the Assessorato Grandi Eventi, Turismo, Sport e Moda di Roma Capitale, represented by Alessandro Onorato, with the support of the Grandi Eventi Office.
The inaugural show at the Colosseum and the parade through the streets of the city centre represent a unique setting that attracts journalists from all over the world. An important planetary media attention that is already very high for this 2024 edition as well. VIP areas will be set up around the track at the Colosseum to host guests and authorities, ensuring a great rally event in the heart of Rome and the opportunity to witness one of the thrilling moments of both championships.
After the Colosseum the action will move to Fiuggi, confirmed as the HQ and Paddock. The Village will be expanded and enriched with new activities, using the spaces of the new Palacongressi. The Rally di Roma Capitale is not only an event for rally fans, but also for families and all those who wish to experience a weekend of sport and fun.
